Buhita was born as a result of my trips to the remote India back in 2006.

Through my mentor and good friend I was introduced to the magic world of the precious stones, Victorian jewellery and the different treatments of precious metals.

Months later, back in Barcelona, I started to experiment with my first ideas. Barcelona is the city I chose to launch my first designs, mainly with silver and natural stones like aquamarine, opals and tourmaline.

Later on I embarked on high end jewellery. I started to work with gold, diamonds, ruby, emeralds and sapphire.

Since I was a little girl in my native Seville, I started feeling a great passion towards jewellery. I remember my first pair of pearls that I wore as earrings when I was merely 5. At that age I played endlessly with my jewellery kit. My mum used to take me to Córdoba, a city where there is a huge dedication and culture regarding jewellery.

Buhita jewellery is not just an adornment to enhance the beauty of the wearer, but an emotion captured in a moment of time.
